Thank you for your interest in our subspecialty fellowship to further your clinical expertise at CHINA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, TAIWAN. This application is for doctors with more than one year of clinical experience after licensure. Other applicants or medical students could go for observership training programme.

Regulations and Requirements
According to laws and regulations of Taiwan, trainees are not allowed to provide any type of DIRECT care, treatment or service to patients. Applicants are strongly suggested to have either Chinese or English language skills. All submitted application materials must be written in or translated to either English or Chinese. An evaluation committee meeting will be held and the application will be reported to Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare for approval.
Training Fee: Decided by the training department
Financial resources: The hospital does not provide a stipend or other financial support. The trainees should prepare for living, travelling, and insurance expenses for the entire duration of the programme.
Taiwan Visa: After acceptance, applicants will need to obtain a travel/resident visa to Taiwan, which requires a valid Passport expiring at least 6 months after the end date of the training programme.
Registration Info: On the first day of training, fellows must register with the Department of Education (from Monday thru Friday, at 9.00 to 15.30). Tuition fees and dormitory fees must be paid in cash (NTD), foreign currency and credit not accepted. The Hospital does not provide uniforms or white coats; the trainees are supposed to bring their own.
Certification: The trainees will receive a certificate issued by China Medical University Hospital after finishing the training course.

1) Date of the certificate would be your last day in China Medical University Hospital.
2) Hands-on assist is only available for fellow of duration over 3 months & with mentor’s approval and supervisor.
